Well today is the official sunrise of HoofBeat Media. Since I love horses and I love doing websites it seemed like a good thing to do during my "middle" years. Having ditched the corporate world many years ago, and spending four years creating a new social media business, I needed a way to actually earn a living. As my family knows, I could stay in front of my computer 24 hours a day if I didn't have to sleep. And sometimes I just ignore that basic human need to get a project done. I'm going to use this blog to post some of my favorite clients photos, ruminate sometimes on topics that interest me and may interest you, and bring you news that I get to think is important. I might take the liberty to stray from the equestrian world. If what I write doesn't have interest I figure you can just ignore me.
I want to thank all my wonderful clients who have started me down this path. Ellen Toon has been such a champion and much fun to work with. She claims she's technology challenged but she's not. Karen Lutz and I have spent hours reminiscing about the past and discussing the good and bad of having daughters in the horse world. Lisa Lourie has supported the Campbell family in more ways than one so I'm happy to give back a wonderful website to her operation. And my Christmas present to Rachel Kennedy was her website and its already led to a great new lead.
So we are off and running. We try to keep things simple. We won't be for everyone but hopefully we will fit with the needs of some in the equestrian community.
